30-year old TV Host & Radio Presenter, Hulisani Ravele, has 21 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her career began in the late 90s, at age 9, and her rise to fame was cemented on the popular kiddies programme, YoTV. Hulisani successfully made the transition from kids television to mainstream media and is growing as a formidable TV Host and Radio Presenter. Off camera, Hulisani holds a BCom Marketing Management degree from UJ and in early 2017 she graduated cum laude from her Honours studies at AFDA where she completed a BA Honours in Motion Picture Medium, specialising in Television Producing. Ravele began her climb up the corporate ladder in 2008, in her final year of undergraduate studies, when she joined SABC 1 as an intern in the Publicity department and moved onto work at Praekelt.

Following her departure from the corporate world in 2014, Hulisani left with the intention to focus solely on her entertainment career with a solid vision and mission in mind: Her Vision: To use her talent to touch and turn lives, one life at a time. Her Mission: To be involved in projects that have purpose, power, and ultimately impact.

In June 2014, she did exactly that as the host of a ground-breaking show for ANN7 – I Am South African. Hulisani hosted a 60-minute, daily live talk-show (Monday to Saturday) for 2 and 1/2 months as a build-up to the Inaugural ANN7 South African of the Year awards. I Am South African saw Ravele sitting down with South Africans from all walks of life; from high-ranking politicians, entrepreneurs, sport stars, and everyday citizens; as they shared their stories of success and struggle.
